Stupid idea. And I say this as someone who has several of the most expensive minis dedicated and could probably buy the points instantly.

All this will do is make players grind and farm more, which is what 95% of players are doing nowadays anyway. At the same time, the greater mountain of grind will discourage new players from beginning to play, which is what Guild Wars actually needs right now.

There is a french fan website that has an unofficial hall of monuments calculator which goes up to 100/100. It's pretty neat and I've used it, not sure if I'm allowed to list it here though.

You are kidding right?

Multiply 2000e many times and you will arrive at the correct figure (currently), then if this half-baked idea was implemented, multiply some more to factor in huge demand vs impossibility to source any

Seriously? You can't just be happy with the reward in GW1 of having your ridiculous max pvp titles, excessive armor collection, impeccable weapon collections, and high end miniatures? Most of these things are rewards in themselves - my excessive armor collection certainly is.
GW1 is a fun game. Playing it for its own rewards is plenty. We don't need even bigger epeen titles, which it would only be possible for a very very small percentage to obtain purely for the small number of some of those minis even in the game, that can be waved around.

50/50 HoM is now a relitively manageble goal for different kind of players. Which is how a game should be, the ones who want more will achieve stuff like max Kurz/Lux/Treasure/Wisdom etc for fun anyway.
Same goes for your armor/weapon collections. Bet half of the people here have a VS/E-blade/Envoy weapon/DSR etc even though it's not part of HoM. Armor combos I see often enough too, you need full sets for HoM...
Mini's were never my thing.. but 50(?) is quite a reasonable amount, it's 'dedication' I think it might resemble 5 years with all 10 profs or something. Just like tormented weapons might resemble doing DoA, Oppressor doing WiK etc. To me HoM makes a bit of sense in such a way.
If everything was 'just' about HoM everyone would be spamming gold spears (zaishen emote) in FoW armor hunting their next points. I don't see that happening tbh. I see people play PvP not (just) for HoM, see people trade stuff that's in price about the same has HoM, see 50/50 players still play... So no.

I think GWAMM covers that nicely.

+1 in the obsidian armor is a pain in the ass to get if you just play casually.

There's plenty of titles to max, if you're done with your HoM, max treasure hunter, wisdom, unlucky and lucky, that'll keep you busy for a while longer. When you're done with that, try other stuff, get into SC'ing if you haven't already, if you don't want that, get into PvP if you haven't already and if you really don't want any of that stuff, start a new 50/50 account, or play another game.

I had 50/50 almost as soon as it came out and I am still playing. If you enjoy the game play it, if you don't why are you grinding for a title?

This. I only really lacked the obsidian armour, a tormented weapon and some oppressor weapons (had all destro weapons before HoM came).
Also, +1 Bright. I got 50/50 soon after HoM was released, and i already had GWAMM; yet, i'm still working on my Luxon, Treasure Hunter, Wisdom, Lucky and Unlucky titles whenever i feel like playing GW, just for fun.

Same here. I log on pretty much everyday and always can find something nice to do, be it personal achievements or just helping someone with theirs.

I think this is a great idea. 50/50 and GWAMM is just too easy.

For those players who have done much more than that, this would be a great motivation to come back to the game.

Opening trade must be hard.

What about the other people that don't have millions in cash? Stop thinking about yourself.

At 90 minis. Everything else maxed. 47 or 48 honor statues... It would make me wanna get the rest for sure.

Governments should offer virtual online trophies for paying more taxes, if thats enough "incentive" to get idiots to do boring, mindless tasks that they otherwise wouldn't do. Maybe even a golden star to wear on your shirt if you are the top 1% of tax payers, to show everyone else how much better you are then them at wasting your time for meaningless rewards.

This is an awful idea. I'm already having trouble finding time to work on all the titles/get money for all the minis for 50/50. Any more than 50 is completely rediculous.

Awful idea for the sake of the majority of the players and the idea of a completionist title is a joke in itself since you don't even have to "complete" the PvP titles to put it in HoM along with others.
